MUST BE COMPLETED: Continue Education YEARLY
Under the provision of AB2880, the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services requires ALL CURRENT GUARD CARD HOLDERS no matter the issuance date must attend an "8-hour Continue Education" every year to keep the guard card VALID.
Without the proper documentation, the guard card will not be valid or renewable. One would have to then start over to be able to obtain a guard card. This will require 40 hours of training under the provision of AB2880.

The State of California Terrorism Program for the Security Professional has been released and is required training for ALL new guards July 2004 and on. Nancy J. Silliman of Enforcement Trainers, Inc. is one of the subject expert of this program and is listed in the credits in the program.
